Membership in the Concho Fire District is considered “At Will”, and may be terminated at any time with or without cause.
Any member of the Concho Fire District may be removed from membership for:
a. Any use of illegal drugs
b. Being found guilty of any certain felony crimes
c. Responding to any call or attending training under the influence of any drugs or alcohol
d. Theft or careless use of District property
e. Operating any District equipment while under the influence of any drugs or alcohol
f. Insubordination to any officer or officer in charge
g. Failure to attend at least 3 training meetings per quarter unless excused by the Chief or Assistant Chief
h. Conduct which causes harm to the reputation of the Concho Fire District
i. Performing tasks or operating equipment in an unsafe manner
j. The Chief may terminate any member of the department for any of the above violations.
