Grooming shall allow a proper SCBA facepiece seal and shall not interfere with helmet, hood or PPE. Hair, jewelry and facial hair that break a seal are a safety issue, not a fashion issue. Uniform appearance on public responses should not bring the District into disrepute (see Code of Conduct).
