Organizational Structure
Rank structure and who the Chief may assign.

Duties — Board of Directors
Elected governing body.

Duties — Fire Chief (Salaried)
CEO of the District. Not eligible for overtime. Reports to the Board Chair.

Duties — Assistant Fire Chief (Hourly)
Supervises assigned divisions; acts as Chief when required.

Duties — Captain / Lieutenant (Hourly)
Company officer. Lieutenant supervises at most 3 and reports to Captain or above.

Duties — Engineer (Hourly)
Drives and operates apparatus. Owns vehicle readiness training.

Duties — Firefighter (Volunteer stipend)
Suppression, rescue, basic medical, station and apparatus work.

Duties — Administrative Personnel / Fire Board Secretary
Office, Board minutes, files. Off-scene support.
