a. It is the policy of the department that safety is paramount. The safety of members and the public shall not be compromised for any reason. Safety is the responsibility of all members of the Concho Fire Department.
b. If any member observes anything he/she deems to be unsafe, he/she should bring it to the attention of the Incident Commander (IC).
c. Your personal protective equipment (PPE) is your responsibility. Wear it for your protection. Take care of it and inspect it on a regular basis.
d. Make regular inspections of SCBAs (self contained breathing apparatus).
