PURPOSE: Establish the nature of the employment relationship between the District and its personnel.
Concho Fire District is an at-will employer. Employment may be ended by either party at any time with or without cause, subject to applicable law.
A six-month probationary / orientation period applies to new members (see also SOG §3 Review and the Probationary Period policy). Initial probationary personnel have limited appeal rights on dismissal.
